💼 About This Role

You'll provide technical leadership on high-visibility consumer-facing web applications, designing and delivering scalable single-page applications on AWS. You'll combine hands-on development with architectural oversight, ensuring reliability and long-term scalability while mentoring engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and design Node.js backend services and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure APIs and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish engineering standards and provide technical mentorship.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience including architecture.
• Strong Node.js backend experience, preferably with NestJS.
• Experience with JWT/OIDC authentication (e.g., Auth0).
• Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience integrating Contentful CMS with modern front-end frameworks.
• Hands-on with CloudPosse Terraform modules and terragrunt patterns.
• Performance tuning for Node.js and MongoDB, plus caching strategies.
