You'll lead the architecture and development of backend systems for Made Card, a credit card and home management platform for homeowners. You'll set engineering standards, mentor teammates, and deliver scalable services that power millions of users. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python
• Define backend architecture, coding standards, and processes
• Optimize data models with Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis
• Mentor backend engineers and conduct code reviews

📋 Requirements

• 5–8+ years in backend engineering, with 3+ years in a lead or senior capacity
• Deep expertise in Python and distributed systems
• Strong experience with Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, credit cards, or regulated financial products
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures or microservices
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
