Description

You will specialize in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of central and string inverters on large-scale solar farms. Working hands-on with GE, Sungrow, and Power Electronics inverters, you'll diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure optimal system performance across megawatt-scale solar sites. This is a 100% travel role.

Requirements

• 3-4+ years of hands-on experience with utility-scale solar inverters
• Direct experience with GE, Sungrow, or Power Electronics inverters
• Experience on megawatt-scale solar sites
• Strong understanding of DC/AC power conversion and inverter fault codes
• Ability to travel 100% and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair utility-scale inverters (GE, Sungrow, Power Electronics)
• Perform advanced inverter testing and commissioning support
• Conduct LOTO, insulation resistance (megger), IV curve tracing, and IR thermography
• Identify and resolve inverter faults, communication errors, and performance issues
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation
