💼 About This Role

You'll own the curated datasets, metric definitions, and transformation logic that power GTM and corporate reporting at Tempo. You'll design and maintain the data layer that makes downstream reporting reliable and self-serve. This role is not about dashboard production, but about building the foundations for AI-powered query tools.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain curated datasets in dbt Cloud for GTM reporting.
• Own metric definitions and ensure consistent logic across reports.
• Investigate data discrepancies end-to-end and resolve root causes.
• Document core datasets and metric definitions in dbt YAML.
• Translate complex business logic into clean data models.

📋 Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in analytics engineering or related SaaS role.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt.
• Experience with subscription or revenue data (ARR, churn, retention).
• Familiarity with BigQuery and BI platforms like Looker or Omni.
