You'll lead a small team across Security Operations and Security Engineering in a player-coach role, driving threat detection and cloud security in an AWS-first environment. You'll shape the security posture of a high-growth SaaS company and partner with leadership to translate technical risks into business outcomes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team across Security Operations and Security Engineering.
• Drive threat detection and response with detection-as-code practices.
• Partner with Engineering and IT to advance cloud security posture.
• Mature Zero Trust architecture and DLP enforcement.
• Represent security in executive stakeholder conversations.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in security engineering or operations with 2+ years in management.
• Deep AWS cloud security expertise with GuardDuty and CloudTrail.
• Strategic experience with modern security stacks like EDR, Zero Trust, and SIEM.
• Technical proficiency in Python for tooling and automation.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SOAR platforms like n8n or Tines.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, or HIPAA.
• Prior experience in SaaS or high-growth tech companies.
