💼 About This Role

You'll design and scale backend systems for our AI platform, owning distributed job orchestration and improving data pipeline performance. Your work will be foundational at a fast-growing Series A startup, enabling safe, efficient AI workflows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable backend architectures for AI workloads
• Own distributed job orchestration with Temporal and related systems
• Improve data pipeline performance with smarter caching strategies
• Build observability, monitoring, retries, and fault tolerance into workflows

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of backend engineering (Python required)
• Strong background in distributed systems and job orchestration
• Deep knowledge of concurrency, parallelism, and multithreading
• Hands-on experience with Temporal, Redis, Airflow, Celery, or similar

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with LLM serving and routing fundamentals
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Track record scaling systems in startups or fast-paced environments
