Description

You will support the preparation of VAT, GST, and sales tax returns, perform GL reconciliations, and work with IT to improve tax reporting systems. You'll also advise front office colleagues on tax implications in commodities trading across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant tax experience
• Experience in Professional Services firm and an in-house tax team
• Knowledge of Workday or Commodities preferred
• Relevant qualification (ACA, CTA or equivalent)
• Strong technical proficiency with MS Excel

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of VAT, GST, sales tax returns and EU sales lists
• Perform GL reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
• Improve indirect tax reporting systems and controls
• Work with IT to build tax reporting for commodities and new markets
• Provide tax advisory to front office on supply chain taxes
