💼 About This Role

You'll own the technical foundations of a mobile banking app, leading a small React Native team to improve developer experience, release quality, and mobile standards. You'll balance platform enablement with product team velocity, ensuring a high-quality, reliable foundation. This role combines leadership with hands-on architectural guidance, including potential migration to Expo.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor the mobile platform team, enabling product teams to operate efficiently.
• Define engineering standards for mobile security, performance, and release quality.
• Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and release workflows.
• Own mobile observability and crash reporting tooling.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of mobile engineering experience, including as Tech Lead or Staff.
• 4+ years of production React Native and TypeScript experience.
• 4+ years of native mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, Java).
• Experience driving CI/CD pipeline and developer workflow improvements.

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior fintech or regulated product environment experience.
• Deeper native mobile development beyond maintenance.
• Experience with Expo or similar migration considerations.
