Description

You will work as part of a developer service team delivering application software enhancements for Point72's Equities Trading business. You'll design and build highly resilient distributed systems that process large sets of financial data in near real-time, supporting global trading across multiple time zones. This role offers the chance to innovate with modern cloud architectures and open-source solutions while driving real business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
• Minimum 8 years of object-oriented programming experience with C#/.NET
• Significant experience with MS SQL Server
• Experience with automated testing, unit testing, and Test-Driven Development
• Knowledge of design patterns, distributed systems, microservices, observability, monitoring, and Docker

Responsibilities

• Deliver new business capabilities, system upgrades, and feature enhancements for Equities Trading
• Design and build highly resilient distributed systems for near real-time financial data processing
• Build software to support global trading across multiple time zones
• Identify and implement new technologies to continuously improve software systems
• Provide production support to diagnose and resolve application software incidents
