💼 About This Role

You'll build Detection & Response Engineering from the ground up at Fluidstack, operating the compute infrastructure powering frontier AI. As the most senior incident commander, you'll define material-incident response and lead the room when systems come under attack. This role offers a chance to shape the trajectory of superintelligence with a small, fast team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Run material incidents as incident commander across multiple teams.
• Build the IR program: runbook standards, severity definitions, post-incident reviews.
• Define the agent-human contract for response and escalation criteria.
• Design and operate the senior-IR on-call rotation with SLAs.
• Analyze incident trends to surface systemic risks and drive improvements.

📋 Requirements

• Material incident command experience at companies with sophisticated threat models.
• Disclosure-grade call-making under regulatory and customer reporting clocks.
• Runbook writing that others followed under pressure, with iterative improvement.
• Operational process building from the ground up in unstructured environments.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience bridging cyber, physical, and OT/ICS incident surfaces.
• Experience at critical-infrastructure operators or data centers.
• Experience designing or operating agent-augmented incident response automations.
