💼 About This Role

You'll join Anduril's Frontier AI team to build edge-compatible, generative AI systems for the Lattice platform, improving autonomy and reducing cognitive burden on warfighters. You'll distill and fine-tune transformers for deployment on edge devices and prototype LLM-based agentic systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Distill and fine-tune transformer architectures for edge deployment
• Propose and prototype LLM-based agentic systems
• Develop and maintain mission-relevant benchmarks
• Collaborate cross-functionally to discover new research problems

📋 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• 5+ years experience developing and benchmarking ML algorithms
• Experience pushing and maintaining ML algorithms in production
• Strong Python skills with experience in PyTorch

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience fine-tuning transformer-based models
• Experience deploying deep-learning models to edge devices or air gapped environments
• Prior experience in defense tech or start-up
