Description

As a Spacecraft Embedded Software Engineer on the Platform team, you'll develop daemons in Rust that interface with embedded systems using low-level protocols, integrate C code for hardware interfaces, and contribute to fault-tolerant system design. You'll work closely with Electrical Engineering to optimize software-hardware integration in a fast-paced environment where design-to-launch cycles are measured in weeks and months.

Requirements

• Proven experience in embedded systems development using Rust
• Knowledge of Linux-based development (Ubuntu)
• Proficiency in integrating C code with Rust projects
• Experience with real-time communication protocols
• Excellent documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Develop daemons in Rust interfacing with embedded systems via low-level protocols
• Implement communication interfaces between embedded systems and higher-level processes
• Integrate C code for specific hardware interfaces
