Description

You will support and develop StackAdapt's privacy program, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and building trust with customers. You'll work cross-functionally on strategic projects, negotiate data processing agreements, and monitor evolving privacy legislation.

Requirements

• Understanding of data protection laws relevant to marketing and advertising technologies
• At least 5 years of privacy, legal operations, or similar inhouse experience in adtech/martech or privacy group of reputable firm
• Hands-on experience with data protection frameworks (CCPA, COPPA, PIPEDA, HIPAA)
• Ability to synthesize complex information into succinct points
• Active standing in at least one state bar in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement privacy and governance strategies for legislative compliance
• Enhance processes to monitor, audit, and improve information and privacy practices
• Negotiate and draft Data Processing Agreements and privacy contractual provisions
• Assist revenue, advertising solutions, client services, and security teams on privacy matters
• Implement privacy by design principles and monitor evolving privacy legislation
