Description

You will lead a finance team of 3-4 people, oversee financial management and reporting for five account groups, and act as a trusted commercial partner to client leads and senior management. Your role is critical in driving profitability and ensuring financial excellence across a diverse client portfolio.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of financial leadership experience in agency or project-based business
• Strong experience with German financial regulations and compliance
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop small teams
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
• Fluent in German and English, based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of 3-4 professionals
• Review client contracts, pricing structures, and scopes of work for commercial soundness
• Manage monthly closing, forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting
• Monitor performance against forecasts and identify risks/opportunities to improve margins
• Implement and improve financial processes and internal controls
