Description
You will prepare, submit, and track warranty claims, audit repair orders for compliance, and act as the primary liaison between service advisors and technicians to ensure proper documentation and training. This role is critical to maintaining trust and quality in our vehicle sales process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warranty Administrator or equivalent administrative role in an automotive dealership
- Strong knowledge of automotive service, parts, and manufacturer warranty procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex warranty guidelines
- Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and track all warranty claims daily to manufacturers or third-party providers to ensure prompt payment
- Audit repair orders for proper documentation, labor times, and codes, ensuring adherence to manufacturer and dealership warranty policies
- Address discrepancies or unpaid claims promptly
- Act as primary liaison with service advisors and technicians to correct errors on repair orders and provide training on warranty procedures
- Maintain accurate records of all submitted claims and correspondence, and stay current on warranty policies and updates
