💼 About This Role

You'll lead hourly warehouse personnel and own Day-to-Day material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment for Base's expansion into Chicagoland. You'll be the first to build the warehouse operation from the ground up, setting standards for inventory management and team culture. What stands out: direct impact on production continuity at a startup scaling reliable energy infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Supervise and coach hourly warehouse staff
• Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, kitting, and shipping
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and FIFO procedures

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years warehouse/materials experience
• 1+ year leading hourly teams in an operational environment
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate forklifts

• Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen certification
• Experience with material flow in a manufacturing setting
