💼 About This Role

You'll drive the vulnerability lifecycle and build autonomous security systems for Persona, an identity verification platform. Your work directly protects real people's identities against AI-driven fraud. This is a high-ownership role embedded in a small, senior team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Drive the full vulnerability lifecycle and external threat response
• Design and build autonomous security systems and AI tooling
• Partner with product engineers to embed security in new features
• Shape Persona's security research community and bug bounty program

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years in product security
• Translated security risk into product decisions with non-technical stakeholders
• Embedded security into an engineering team's SDLC without being a blocker

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SAST/DAST tooling, dependency scanning, or bug bounty programs
• Compliance experience (SOC 2, HIPAA) in a cloud-native environment
• Built systems with high data sensitivity (HIPAA, financial data, identity)
