You'll design and develop signal processing and lidar algorithms in C++ for production software at Aeva, a company transforming autonomy with silicon photonics-based 4D LiDAR sensors. Your work will directly impact real-world applications in automated driving and robotics, translating floating-point models to fixed-point for ARM and FPGAs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop lidar algorithms in C++ for production software.
• Translate floating-point models to fixed-point for ARM or FPGAs.
• Conduct data analysis, development, and testing of algorithms.
• Participate in design reviews and process improvements.

📋 Requirements

• Master's degree with 2+ years industry experience or Ph.D. in related field.
• 3+ years developing C/C++ applications focused on lidar algorithm design.
• Fundamentals in signal processing, probability theory, and mathematics.
• Experience with quantitative data analysis in Python or Matlab.

✨ Nice to Have

• Previous experience with point cloud processing in radar or lidar systems.
• Experience deploying software for sensing systems.
• Knowledge of advanced signal processing algorithms for radar or lidar.
