πΌ About This Role
You'll oversee the operation, performance, and security of a federal client's enterprise network. You'll drive Zero Trust enforcement and secure connectivity across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and compliant access.
π― What You'll Do
- Lead network operations for enterprise LAN/WAN, firewall, wireless, and secure access platforms
- Provide technical oversight for Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, and Aruba infrastructure
- Ensure alignment with Zero Trust principles including identity-aware access and segmentation
- Oversee incident monitoring, response, and resolution for Priority 1 events
- Coordinate network change management including impact analysis and rollback planning
π Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in network operations or engineering
- Experience supporting enterprise routing, switching, and firewall operations
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and network segmentation
- Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, and Aruba technologies
β¨ Nice to Have
- Relevant certifications (Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Zscaler certifications, ITIL v4)
- Experience supporting Zero Trust network implementations
- Experience in federal IT environments with compliance and audit requirements
