Description

As an NDE Radiography Specialist at SpaceX, you will provide technical expertise across R&D, engineering, production, and quality assurance to develop specifications, processes, and procedures that support goals like cycle time reduction and defect reduction. You will ensure deployment of best-in-class NDE solutions for launch vehicle reliability and performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Level II certification in RT, DR, or CR per ASNT TC-1A, NAS-410, or DOD
• 5+ years industry experience as NDE Inspector (preferred Level III)
• Knowledge of digital and computed radiography
• Experience with fracture critical products and aerospace standards (AMS, AWS/ASME, ASTM, NASA 5009)

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify NDE systems, tooling, and processes for radiography
• Create part-specific techniques and documentation for digital and computed radiography
• Provide technical production support, including system maintenance and calibration
• Develop and administer technician training and qualification programs
• Drive continuous improvement in process efficiency and accuracy
