💼 About This Role

You'll drive the quality and growth of Catawiki's Jewellery auctions in Japan by curating compelling auctions that attract engaged bidders and trusted sellers. You'll combine gemmological expertise with commercial judgement to safeguard transparency and fairness while strengthening our position in the Japanese market. This role offers the chance to work with a global marketplace selling over 25 million unique objects.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Evaluate submitted lots and provide value estimates
• Curate attractive jewellery auctions balancing quality and demand
• Maintain transparency through professional seller communication
• Partner with Sales to recruit and develop new sellers

📋 Requirements

• Gemmology Diploma from FEEG/GIA-recognized school
• 5+ years in jewellery trade including manufacturing and quality control
• Proven experience appraising pre-owned and brand jewellery
• Fluent Japanese and English language skills
