💼 About This Role

You'll join SQA Services as a Quality Mechanical Inspector in Minneapolis-St. Paul, performing precision inspections on mechanical parts for a critical manufacturing client. Your work ensures conformance to specifications, helping maintain high-quality standards in aerospace and other industries.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform precision inspection verifications on mechanical parts and assemblies
• Work with receiving department to reduce backlog of machined rocket parts
• Verify documentation packages to industry/commodity-specific standards
• Classify defect types and verify rework during inspection

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on precision mechanical parts inspection experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and standards
• Proficient in GD&T and validating dimensions using hand tools
• Experience with certificates of conformance and inspection documentation

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field
• Certification in inspection techniques or GD&T
• CMM programming experience
