You will partner with Stripe's chief economist to explore datasets covering millions of companies, uncovering macroeconomic trends and industry shifts. You will turn these insights into compelling content for internet audiences and distribute across channels like Substack, social media, and keynotes.

Requirements

• Experience working with large datasets and public-facing analysis
• 5+ years publishing original work (newsletter, newsroom, media)
• Exceptional writer across short and long formats
• Experience with data science tools (R, Python) preferred
• Strong editorial point of view and online presence preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with data science team to interpret signals in Stripe's data
• Scour public macroeconomic data to weave into stories
• Own data stories end-to-end from hypothesis to publication
• Turn datasets into clear visualizations
• Publish original data-driven editorial and distribute across channels
