Description

You will manage patient balances, initiate collection calls, handle inbound inquiries, and work with admissions teams to ensure financial agreements are aligned. Your role is crucial in minimizing costs to patients and their families while maintaining accurate financial records.

Requirements

• Able to work hybrid schedule (4 days/week in Nashville office) within 75 minutes commuting distance
• Knowledge of medical billing practices and confidentiality requirements
• 2+ years related work experience in healthcare admin, financial, insurance, customer service, billing, or call center
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mathematics skills and strict attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage patient balances for self-pay collections post insurance processing
• Initiate collection calls to patients/families for outstanding balances
• Handle inbound calls regarding balances and invoices
• Arrange payments and payment plans
• Provide daily/weekly updates to leadership on collections status
