Description

You will join a team of senior ICs building both internal software for the firm's investing and operating functions and external products for partners, portfolio, and investors. Your primary responsibility is designing and implementing intuitive, data-driven user interfaces, collaborating with product and design teams to deliver performant and secure front-end systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years professional software engineering experience
• Experience building user-facing products with ReactJS or React Native (NextJS a plus)
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (and/or TypeScript), HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration (GraphQL a plus)
• Experience in rapid iteration and consistent excellence in process, ideally at a successful early-stage startup or as a senior IC at a larger company
• Strong problem-solving skills and mathematical intuition
• Low ego, high empathy, and capacity to collaborate with diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Ship new and unique user-facing products quickly and often, engage users, and iterate on internal feedback
• Understand and optimize workflows of teams across the firm through intelligent software development and deployment
• Contribute to team-wide discussions of new features and implementation of software products for investing, operational teams, and external users
• Work independently with guidance, advocate for yourself, and own the team's success
• Write elegant, principled logic that is powerful and easy to understand
• Bring positive energy and foster inclusive collaboration
• Learn the inner workings of VC and work closely with the investing partnership
