You'll support the financial accounting unit as Wave scales its cashless payment services across Senegal. Your core impact is ensuring accurate financial records and tax compliance for a high-growth fintech. This role offers the chance to shape financial operations in a rapidly expanding company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Support the Assistant Financial Controller in day-to-day work and close process.
• Book accounting entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports.
• Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports.

📋 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with financial reporting requirements.
• Fluent in English for interaction with non-French speakers.

• Corporate tax experience in multi-entity reporting.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and sales tax filing.
