💼 About This Role

You'll implement outdoor skill-based sport and recreational lessons for middle school students in DREAM's summer program. Your core impact is creating an inclusive, competitive sports environment using Sports Based Youth Development principles to ensure physical and emotional safety. You'll mentor high school-aged coaches and model positive participation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead implementation of youth sports practices and games
• Deliver structured, skill-based sport education lessons
• Mentor and set a positive example for high school-aged coaches
• Supervise students using restorative practices for safety

📋 Requirements

• 18+ years old with high school diploma or equivalent by June 30, 2025
• Ability to facilitate high quality recreation programming with large adolescent groups outdoors
• Ability to independently follow practice plans/lesson plans
• Exhibits high energy and patience in working with adolescents

✨ Nice to Have

• Demonstrated success as a middle school athletics coach
• Experience in youth development, recreation, or athletics setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
