Description

You will lead a team to design and develop the user interface for our counter-drone systems, enabling mission planning, control, and situational awareness for a swarm-based airborne defense platform. Your work directly impacts the effectiveness and safety of next-generation aerial security.

Requirements

• Strong background in software engineering (5+ years) including technical leadership and modern UI/backend development
• Experience in UAS mission planning, drone operations, or related domains (robotics, autonomous systems, C2/C4ISR)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, real-time data processing, and high-availability architectures
• Familiarity with defence-related standards and tools (e.g., Sapient, STANAG 4586, ATAK, SitaWare)
• Ability to translate mission and user requirements into intuitive UI/UX
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team
• Own the full lifecycle of the Mission Management System UI from requirements to deployment
• Define and evolve system architecture for scalability and integration with sensors, effectors, and C2 systems
• Collaborate with product, systems engineering, UX, and hardware teams
• Ensure engineering excellence through clean coding, automated testing, and CI/CD
• Shape the product roadmap with new features and technology opportunities
• Conduct technical reviews and develop proof-of-concepts
• Support integration and field testing in realistic environments
• Champion usability, safety, and reliability in mission-critical scenarios
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of innovation
