Description

You will own the technical direction of Nubank's Investments Platforms—the core systems for custody, offers, orders, settlements, and more—driving migration from legacy systems while operating at scale. Collaborate across platform teams and help shape AI usage in the investments domain.

Requirements

• 12+ years software engineering experience, 5+ on large-scale platforms in transactional environments
• Proven track record building extensible, multi-tenant business platforms with clear contracts
• Experience leading strategic migrations from legacy to new architectures
• Strong foundation in distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Investments expertise (brokerage, custody, order management, Brazilian capital markets)

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction of Investments Platforms (custody, orders, settlements, etc.)
• Lead migration from legacy Invest systems using co-existence and strangler patterns
• Drive AI usage in investments—both in products and engineering practices
• Collaborate with Payments, Banking, and product squads across the platform ecosystem
• Define reference architectures, RFCs, and platform SLAs for internal consumers
