💼 About This Role

You'll plan and execute pier-side and underway autonomous vessel test events for Saronic Technologies. You'll lead onboard trials, translate autonomy requirements into safe test procedures, and coordinate defect tracking and resolution with software teams. This role offers a chance to shape maritime autonomy verification from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Author and maintain autonomous sea trial test plans and matrices.
• Serve as on-scene test lead for autonomy trials.
• Coordinate test readiness and vessel condition with stakeholders.
• Track defects and produce corrective action documentation.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in test/validation, trials, or operational readiness for complex systems.
• Experience leading pier-side and underway test execution.
• Working knowledge of shipboard activities and vessel readiness.
• Experience tracking sea trial defects and producing corrective actions.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience supporting builder's trials and customer trials on autonomous platforms.
• Marine engineering or naval architecture background.
• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field.
