Description

You will design enclosures and accessories for payment terminals, using Solidworks and tolerance analysis. You'll own mechanical design from concept through manufacturing, collaborate on DFx, and support compliance activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• 5+ years experience in product design of plastic and sheet metal with Solidworks
• Ability to design plastic housings for products like smartphones and tablets
• Proficiency in Solidworks, 2D drawings, tolerance analysis, and mold design
• Experience managing vendors and factories; travel required

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and assemblies with Solidworks
• Prepare engineering documents, specifications, DFx, and technical reports
• Verify mechanical design, drawings, and solve technical problems
• Review design manufacturability and control BOM cost and schedule
• Support fixture design, supplier qualification, and compliance certification
