💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical accounting and financial reporting for a growing AI company, preparing for its first external audit and public market entry. You will work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer to ensure compliance and readiness. This role leverages AI tools to optimize workflows and offers a unique opportunity to impact company growth.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical accounting for audit and S-1 preparation.
• Lead preparation of GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Oversee the external audit process and ensure compliance.
• Build and mentor the accounting team as the company scales.

📋 Requirements

• Active CPA with Big 4 or national firm background.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting or financial reporting.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP principles and practices.
• Experience preparing GAAP financial statements from scratch.
