Description

As a Principal Antenna Engineer on the Starshield team, you will design advanced antenna and feed systems for next-generation products, including phased array and reflector systems, and support integration into spacecraft and other systems for national security missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering
• 8+ years of RF and antenna research or development experience
• Experience with 3D EM simulation tools like CST, HFSS, FEKO, EMPro, TICRA, or XFDTD
• Knowledge of RF concepts: impedance matching, linear and aperture antennas, smith chart, power handling metrics, microwave network analysis, RF filter design
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design advanced antenna and feed systems for phased array and reflector products
• Fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas, feed systems, and RF front ends
• Contribute to software development and testing of digital beamforming systems
• Provide phased array expertise for satellite products and debug problems
• Analyze in-the-field RF performance data and improve system performance
