Description

You will lead and execute M&A strategies for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, sourcing, evaluating, and closing acquisitions and dispositions. Your work will directly drive the company's growth and capital recycling efforts in the renewable energy sector.

Requirements

• Proven track record in sourcing, evaluating, structuring, negotiating, and closing project and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions
• Experience in utility-scale solar and energy storage M&A
• Ability to manage post-acquisition development, financing, and commercial obligations
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with departments including Development, Origination, Capital Markets, Engineering, and Accounting
• Experience preparing presentations and analysis for internal approvals

Responsibilities

• Lead origination, analysis, structuring, documentation, and execution of utility-scale solar and storage project acquisitions and dispositions
• Analyze markets considering political, regulatory, legal, tax, and supply/demand factors to recommend M&A activity
• Establish and maintain relationships with advisors, brokers, and developers to source opportunities aligned with business objectives
• Perform project due diligence across interconnection, real estate, permitting, environmental, EPC, and operations
• Work with in-house and external counsel to negotiate and close purchase/sale, joint development, and partnership agreements
