💼 About This Role

You'll partner with product and legal teams to define compliance requirements for Square's Lending products, including the Square Credit Card. Your core impact will be identifying and designing mitigating controls to ensure regulatory compliance. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with Product and Regulatory Counsel to define legal obligations for new products
• Identify, document, and support design of mitigating controls
• Embed with Product partners to provide strategic compliance advice
• Identify product gaps in controls and collaborate on remediation plans

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in compliance industry, ideally payments and lending
• Strong regulatory knowledge in AML/BSA, UDAP/UDAAP, TILA, Reg Z, MLA, FCRA, ECOA
• Metrics-driven approach to create substantiated solutions
• Ability to influence others and gain support around compliance goals
