💼 About This Role

You'll drive GNC architecture for internally developed actuators at a Series C space startup building the highest-power satellites. In your first year, you'll support the Trinity mission launch and on-orbit operations while upgrading the GNC stack. You'll own Verification and Validation plans to achieve flight readiness.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop novel algorithms for precise pointing of large flexible structures
• Develop algorithms for mechanism pointing and disturbance rejection
• Develop simulation and modeling tools for vehicle and GNC trade studies
• Contribute to building GNC organization by recruiting and mentoring

📋 Requirements

• Experience with GNC actuator or sensor sizing and system design
• Experience implementing control or estimation algorithms
• Experience with V&V of GNC flight software in integrated environment
• Experience with Python, Julia, C/C++, or Matlab

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with early-stage conceptual design
• Experience with control algorithm development
• Experience with reaction wheel or thruster sizing and algorithm implementation
