Description

You will develop and expand core parts of a new platform to make it easier for customers to build AI applications using MongoDB, taking on high-visibility projects that improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of the distributed systems infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience building distributed systems or cloud services at scale
• Interest in Python, Go, and Java
• Proven success in designing, testing, debugging, and maintaining distributed software systems
• Track record of delivering complex projects in distributed systems or databases
• Good verbal and written technical communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work with research, product management, and engineering to implement and evolve the service
• Design, build, and deliver well-tested core platform pieces
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and development practices
• Mentor fellow engineers
• Assume ownership and accountability of projects
