Description

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Okta, you'll partner with the sales team to serve as the technical domain expert, demonstrating Okta's identity solutions to customers through presentations, whiteboard sessions, and proof-of-concept demonstrations. Your work involves understanding customer challenges, tailoring demos, and collaborating across teams to drive product adoption and feedback.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of pre-sales engineering and solution selling experience in enterprise accounts
  • Deep understanding of identity protocols: SAML, OIDC, OAuth, FIDO, SCIM, LDAP
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure/Entra, GCP; experience with REST APIs and SDKs
  • Hands-on experience in front-end/back-end development, scripting (Bash, PowerShell), or DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Work with corporate/expansion sales team as domain expert to demonstrate Okta solutions value
  • Serve as technical advisor, educating customers on identity solutions
  • Lead technical engagements, including complex Proofs of Concept (POCs)
  • Drive product growth by sharing customer feedback with product teams
  • Represent Okta at marketing events such as conferences and trade shows
