You'll develop, qualify, and optimize manufacturing processes for K2's solar array systems, directly impacting power production, longevity, and build speed. Your work is on the critical path for high-power satellite platforms and scaling production from prototype to high-rate. You'll own process development for material systems and novel manufacturing processes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop, qualify, and optimize solar array manufacturing processes
• Design and execute structured DOE and statistical analyses
• Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations
• Own equipment evaluation and selection for in-house processes
• Define qualification criteria and test envelopes

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in materials and process engineering
• Hands-on experience with material characterization and process development for hardware

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree or PhD in materials science or related field
• Experience with solar array process development across full lifecycle
• Python or MATLAB proficiency for test data analysis
