Description

You will provide engineering design support and subject matter expertise in fire protection, life safety, and building codes for SpaceX's Starlink facilities. Your work will ensure production and engineering teams have safe, code-compliant facilities to support the world's first and largest satellite constellation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience in fire protection system design or consulting
• Working knowledge of Building Fire Codes and NFPA Codes Standards

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design, analysis, and specifications for facility fire and life safety systems
• Develop building and fire code compliance documents and fire life safety designs
• Perform hazardous material analysis for code compliance
• Support facility construction teams to develop field solutions
• Conduct fire/life safety code reviews and analyses
