💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement test systems for Zipline's autonomous drone fleet, working across Ground Systems, Structures Mechanisms, or Powertrain Battery teams. Your work directly impacts reliable delivery of critical supplies to people in need. This role offers cradle-to-grave ownership of test systems in a fast-paced, impactful environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Generate requirements for test systems with product design and reliability teams
• Design, build, and maintain critical test systems for vehicle components
• Manage test systems for early-stage designs, prioritizing efforts
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians

📋 Requirements

• Design for user experience of mechanical test systems
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals with proven design execution
• Cross-functional team management experience
• Must be eligible to work in the US and in-person at South San Francisco
