Description

As a key lead within the Computing Squad, you'll own critical infrastructure like Kubernetes and AWS, drive improvements in performance and costs, mentor junior engineers, and represent the team in technical forums to shape our computing platform strategy.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
• Experience with access management (AWS IAM, Role management).
• Experience with scaling tools like Karpenter, KEDA, and HPA.
• Experience with Golang.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to improve infrastructure in areas like performance, costs, and governance.
• Act as a key technical lead, guiding and mentoring junior engineers to maintain a high-quality technical environment.
• Represent the team in technical forums, documenting, negotiating, and convincing stakeholders across various levels.
• Anticipate technical and product issues, making appropriate design decisions to avoid them.
• Deep dive into problems to identify root causes and deliver innovative solutions with medium/long-term impact.
