Description

You will own the architecture, design, development, testing, and operation of next-generation high-reliability RF systems for deep-space communication, navigation, and science operations. Work hands-on across the full lifecycle, from concept and link budgets to hardware bring-up and flight readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in RF communication system architecture and component engineering
• Experience with RF architecture link budgets for challenging environments
• Experience with selection, design, or integration of RF systems (transmitters, receivers, LNAs, etc.)
• Experience with RF passive components (filters, diplexers, couplers, waveguide) or antenna design and modeling

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop RF systems for deep-space communication
• Perform link budget analysis for challenging environments
• Work with ground stations (DSN, KSAT) and support hardware bring-up
• Conduct environmental qualification and integrated testing
• Collaborate with avionics, optical comms, and spacecraft RE teams
