You'll define and evaluate advanced RF communication architectures supporting satellite and ground systems at Northwood Space. Your work sits at the intersection of antenna systems, RF hardware, and signal processing, translating mission requirements into RF system designs. You'll collaborate across teams to develop real RF apertures operating at global scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze RF system and communication link performance
• Develop antenna system architectures with phased arrays and beamforming
• Model RF, link budgets, and signal processing behavior
• Plan and execute integrated system tests for physical-layer performance

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE, Applied Physics, or related field
• 5+ years experience modeling and analyzing RF systems or communication links
• Strong foundation in electromagnetics, antenna theory, and RF system design
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or Rust for RF system or signal-processing analysis

• Experience with phased arrays or beamforming systems
• Link budget analysis and communication system trade studies
• Familiarity with modem architectures and physical-layer metrics
