💼 About This Role

You'll build the accounting function from scratch as the first dedicated accounting leader at Peak Energy, a clean energy storage company. You'll own the close process, lead ERP implementation, and prepare for the first audit while designing scalable policies and controls. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to design and own the entire accounting organization from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Establish internal accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Lead ERP implementation as finance lead (e.g., NetSuite).
• Implement capital expenditure processes including asset capitalization and depreciation policies.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including in-house at a growing company.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control design.
• Experience leading ERP implementations or major system transitions.
