You will act as a liaison between the dealership and Caterpillar, relaying updates, troubleshooting customer issues, and providing technical support to internal teams. This role involves managing a technical library, reporting product concerns, and ensuring timely communication to minimize operational problems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred
- 2 years general office experience
- 5+ years in Caterpillar dealer service department as technician or correspondent
- Valid CA class C driver's license with clean record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Caterpillar service programs
Responsibilities
- Maintain technical library and distribute updates from Caterpillar
- Provide customer support including troubleshooting and timely responses
- Identify and report product problems to Caterpillar
- Administer sales and service literature
- Perform field inspections and generate deficiency reports
