Description

You will provide an exceptional patient experience by performing venipuncture and other clinical support services, while also handling front desk duties and administrative tasks. You'll help remove barriers to care and ensure a smooth in-office visit for patients.

Requirements

• At least 6 months relevant experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (outside training/externship) or completed Amazon Career Choice program
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform venipuncture on pediatric to geriatric populations
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and office technology
• Self-awareness, adaptability, and a drive to help others

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture services and assist with specimen collection, EKGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
• Manage patient intake, same-day scheduling, follow-up scheduling, billing, and insurance
• Maintain specimen handling, inventory, and tool sterilization
• Perform front desk duties including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and paperwork
• Master technology suite including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, and EMR
