Description

As a Principal in our Brussels office, you will work alongside leading academics and clients to provide economic analyses of mergers and other competition matters. You will independently design economic models, oversee analysis using statistical tools, and manage teams while driving practice-building activities.

Requirements

• Good first degree in economics and postgraduate degree (MSc/MPhil or PhD/DPhil) in economics or related field
• 10+ years relevant experience, preferably in competition policy/economic consulting
• Fluency in English
• Extensive executive client presence and interaction skills
• Experience managing and developing teams of junior colleagues

Responsibilities

• Act as primary client contact and present deliverables including expert reports
• Independently design complex economic and financial models
• Oversee analysis in Stata, SAS, R, or Python
• Manage research process and supervise, train, and mentor teams
• Drive practice-building activities such as training and recruiting
