💼 About This Role

You'll contribute to scaling Archer's Electric Propulsion System production line for eVTOL aircraft. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to bring electric motor and propeller systems into production and drive DFM efforts for efficient manufacturing. This role offers the chance to shape high-rate manufacturing of cutting-edge aerospace hardware.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and scale EPS production line with layout, automation, and tooling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product introduction
• Perform DFM, PFMEA, and author work instructions
• Support first article builds and production validation testing

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 7+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience
• Experience building mechanical and electronic assemblies using sophisticated manufacturing tools
• Hands-on experience with thrust assembly, inverter, or rotor/stator/engine production

✨ Nice to Have

• EV drive unit manufacturing background
• Industrial automation experience (PLC, robotics, gantries)
• Familiarity with high-voltage systems or electric motors
