Description

You will take end-to-end ownership of the transport function, including P&L, network design, service performance, and strategic planning. You'll manage final mile, middle mile, inter-site transfers, and inbound collections, reducing costs while improving efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements

• Proven senior transport management experience with P&L responsibility
• Experience managing multidrop B2C delivery operations
• Strong understanding of UK transport networks and operations
• Track record of reducing transport cost through optimisation and negotiation
• CPC qualification and experience with TMS/YMS platforms

Responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership with budget setting, forecasting, and cost control
• Lead transport network design and optimisation for routes and linehaul
• Manage middle mile haulage strategy, carrier selection, and contract negotiation
• Act as business owner for Transport Management System (TMS) improvements
• Lead, develop, and manage the transport team to drive high performance
